Similar to Döner Let’s go to the Communist Monument. The round UFO-like structure is the Buzludzha Monument, situated atop the Buzludzha Peak in the Central Balkan Mountains of Bulgaria. It served as a meeting place for the Bulgarian Communist Party until the fall of communism in 1989. Today, the monument stands abandoned, yet it remains a striking and somewhat eerie reminder of Bulgaria’s communist past, attracting curious visitors and photographers from around the world. ...

Going Fishing

Yesterday we stayed up late, that is why we had a very chill morning today. We’d be going #Fishing 🎣 with Theo Chen and Junning. Getting lost because the location was not precisely the correct one. The cousin of Tanya gave us the fishing rod and equipment needed for fishing. We even had chairs and an umbrella. He showed us how to do it. He left and we had two fishing rods on our own. After 10 minutes we decided to lure in the line and throw the bait again. It was my turn so exiting. I did not hold the line with one finger and the line was stuck to the mechanism. The line ripped. I yeeted the bait 30m far away into the lake. A bit stupid from me 😐. Nevertheless it was very relaxing going fishing. Chen unscrewed the sieve in the water and lost it in the water. I had to retrieve it. We almost didn’t move that day. We only went out of town to go to the nearby lake (artificial) that is just 3km away. In the evening some friends of Tanya and Dimi came by. ...
